“ I was headed for an upscale restaurant on a random Wednesday night and stumbled upon Black Iron Burger. As a single traveler it is often hard to feel welcomed at restaurants. I headed for the bar and was so welcomed by Sandy. He was extremely busy but took the time to let me know that they are the number one rated burger place in NYC and that I should enjoy the food there instead of taking it to go. I am convinced that they have earned that rating and totally see why. Love this place. ”
“ Black Iron Burger is one of my favorite spots for a burger in Midtown. The place is pretty chill, nothing fancy, just good vibes and really tasty burgers. I tried the Mushroom Truffle Burger and it was juicy and packed with flavor. The fries are great too, especially the truffle ones. If you’re around 38th Street and craving a solid burger, definitely check it out! ”
“ Delicious burger and loaded sweet potato tots! Burger looked small but it filled me up good! I ordered it medium and it was perfect and juicy! I would definitely come back and try other burgers! I ”
“ This restaurant was a nice surprise. Just a few blocks from Times Square, it's easy to get lost in the midst of so many options. The reception is very good and pleasant, the place reminds me a lot of a pub, the food is excellent and one of the best burgers I've ever had. I'll definitely go back on my next visit to the city. ”
“ Dec 2024: The food was pretty good and definitely hit the spot. The American burger was an 8.5/10—the meat and overall flavor were great, but the bacon was too thick and had too much fat. The Epic burger was rated 6/10; he said “it too dry.” Personally, I enjoyed my fish burger—it was fried to perfection. The truffle fries were delicious, though they were a bit soggy. ”
“ One of the best burgers I've ever had! They were tasty, juicy and cooked to perfection - everything you'd want a burger to be! Amazing beer to pair with it too...! To top it all off, the service was perfect as well. I'll be back! I had the Iberico Burger with the herb-garlic fries - I highly recommend it! ”
“ First visit to this great burger place. Place was quiet on this visit. Service was great and fast very little wait time. My wife and I were going to order separate fries and the waitress suggested one large order. Loved the old hip-hop style music playing low in the background. This is a small place lower lit restaurant. The burgers were ordered medium and that's how they were served. ”
“ First time here while visiting NYC. The food was fresh and served hot to order. The cocktails were delicious, and the customer service all around was great. We felt very welcomed and attended to. Celeste was our server. She was awesome. ”
